"Red Rose" is a Mandarin song by Hong Kong pop male singer Eason Chan. It was released in 2007. The Cantonese version is "White Rose", which was included in the album released in 2006. These two songs were written by Taiwanese lyricist Francis Lee based on Eileen Chang's novel "Red Rose and White Rose". It is about that every man has two women in his heart: a red rose symbolizes a flirtatious woman, whilst a white rose symbolizes a pure & innocent woman. From the lyrics of the songs, men never satisfied with the status quo, they always want more. One famous line in "Red Rose": "When I hugged you from behind, what I expected was her face"; One famous line in "White Rose": "You are cold but still beautiful. What can't be obtained is always more precious".
《紅玫瑰》是香港流行男歌手陳奕迅的一首國語歌曲，於2007年發行，粵語版是《白玫瑰》，收錄於2006年發行的專輯。這首歌是台灣填詞人李焯雄根據張愛玲的小説《紅玫瑰與白玫瑰》所填。講的是每個男人心中都有兩個女人，一個紅玫瑰象徵風騷，一個白玫瑰象徵純情明月光。這首歌的描述，男人永遠不安於現狀，得一想二。 《紅玫瑰》著名歌詞: "從背後 抱你的時候 期待的卻是她的面容" ; 《白玫瑰》著名歌詞:"怎麼冷酷 卻仍然美麗 得不到的 從來矜貴"。

According to Greek legend, the name of Thyme was originated from the goddess Venus who witnessed the heavy casualties of the Trojan War, and could not help but burst into tears.
